A cozy, fully furnished room is located on the second floor of a house in the quiet and green Crestview neighborhood. As I will be away for my summer study break, the room will be available. It is free from May until the end of August. There are two rental options: monthly rental or for the entire four-month period (May–August).

The room includes a desk, desk lamp, office chair, bed with a mattress, and a spacious built-in closet with a shelf and double doors. You will only need to bring your own bed linen and pillow. The second floor also has a modern bathroom with a vanity, shared with three other male housemates: a digital entrepreneur, a healthcare worker, and a web designer. All are former Algonquin College students; I am currently enrolled at Carleton University. Everyone in the house is quiet, respectful, and friendly. The house is kept clean, and all housemates contribute to maintaining it.

The house is equipped with air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi. The first floor features a fully equipped shared kitchen (fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, range hood, kettle, toaster, etc.). Each housemate has their own designated space in the fridge, freezer, cupboards, and shelves. All kitchen utensils (dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups, pots, pans, etc.) are included. There is also a shared washroom on the first floor, located next to the laundry machine and dryer. The living and dining areas are on the first floor as well, with access to a balcony and a green backyard. A coat closet and shoe rack are also available on this floor.

The house is located on Spring Garden Avenue, within walking distance of Merivale Mall. There are two nearby bus stations. An outdoor public swimming pool is located directly across the street. Nearby grocery stores (No Frills, Metro) are within a 15-minute walk or a 3-minute drive. Other nearby amenities include Shoppers Drug Mart, Farm Boy, Tailgators, Wendy’s, and Harvey’s, along with many additional shops and services in the same area. The street is quiet, with minimal traffic, and offers a pleasant view of trees and greenery. Garden maintenance is handled by a professional company and covered by the landlord.

The monthly rent is CAD 800 and includes all utilities, internet, and unlimited use of the laundry facilities. An outdoor parking space in front of the house is available for an additional CAD 50 per month. Rent can be paid monthly, on the first day of each month, via e-transfer or in cash. No deposit is required.

There are no pets allowed in the house. Smoking is possible on the balcony.
