Seeking a reliable, customer-focused individual to join a retail liquor store team. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours.
Qualifications:
• Must be 18 (legal age to sell alcohol in Alberta)
• Required Valid Pro-Service Certification
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Previous retail or liquor store experience is an asset
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and assist with product selection
• Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain store cleanliness
• Check IDs and ensure compliance with liquor laws
• Receive deliveries and manage inventory
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations
• Assist customers with purchases and product inquiries
• Restock shelves and coolers
• Maintain a clean and organized store
• Process transactions accurately
• Uphold responsible Customer service standards
• Accept and Fill the Skip the Dishes/ phone call customer order
• Retail experience preferred but not required
Working Hour and shifts are: Thursday 6pm to midnight; Friday 5pm to Midnight; Saturday 5pm to Midnight; Sunday 10 am to 5pm.
