Description
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Lead, 2nd and 3rd year apprentice Framers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures using various materials and techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, along with the ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely. The Framer will play a vital part in building durable frameworks for residential, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately construct frameworks.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, concrete forms, siding, and other building materials.
Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform heavy lifting to move materials and structural components into place.
Assist with concrete finishing tasks as needed for foundation or structural work.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety protocols.
Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly cared for.
Support restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures as required.
Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
Experience with concrete forming, concrete finishing, and welding techniques.
Strong knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, siding installation, and construction practices.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely.
Familiarity with the use of heavy equipment operation for construction purposes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical stamina to handle demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

$22 to $45 hr depending on experience and position
