Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team on a ~350-head dairy farm. This position involves daily livestock care as well as field work. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the health and productivity of the herd while supporting overall farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily chores including feeding, milking assistance, cleaning stalls, and monitoring animal health
- Operate and maintain farm equipment as needed
- Assist with field work outside of chore times (planting, harvesting, manure handling, etc...)
- Follow farm safety protocols and animal welfare standards
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently

Work Schedule:
- Start time between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM
- Schedule may include weekends and holidays depending on farm needs

Qualifications:
- Previous farming experience preferred
- Agricultural education or training is considered an asset
- Ability to operate farm machinery
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working with livestock

Job Title: Farm Equipment Operator / Field Technician

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dependable individual to join our dairy farm team, with a primary focus on field work and equipment maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery, and handling mechanical repairs, while also being willing to assist with barn chores and livestock care when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate farm machinery for field work including planting, harvesting, fertilizing, and manure application
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractors, implements, and other farm equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out necessary fixes to minimize downtime
- Assist with crop management tasks and general field upkeep
- Support barn operations when required, including feeding, cleaning, and basic animal care
- Follow farm safety protocols and animal welfare standards
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently

Work Schedule:
- Start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
- Hours may vary depending on weather and seasonal demands
- Weekend and extended hours may be required during busy periods

Qualifications:
- Experience operating agricultural machinery is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and repair experience strongly preferred
- Background in agriculture or related education is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work in varying conditions
- Valid driver’s license required (farm or heavy equipment experience is an asset)
