Red Star Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Stoney Creek.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Accurately document all repairs, services, and inspections
• Purchasing and Inventory Keeping
• Follow safety protocols to always ensure a safe working environment.
Qualification & Requirements:
✓ Extensive experience with heavy trucks and trailers
✓Strong mechanical aptitude and problem – solving skills
✓Ability to work independently and within a team -oriented environment
✓A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are a plus.
✓Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
✓ Basic Computer Skills
