Job Posting: Youth Care Worker (Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual)

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Youth Care Workers. This role involves supporting youth in a safe, structured, and supportive environment, with a focus on building positive relationships, promoting stability, and encouraging personal growth.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual positions available
Shifts: 8–12 hour shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
Wage: Competitive and based on qualifications and experience

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and support to youth
Build trusting and respectful relationships
Support youth in developing life skills and healthy routines
Prepare meals and assist with daily household tasks and chores
Respond effectively to challenging behaviours using a trauma-informed approach
Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Work collaboratively with team members and external supports

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience working with youth
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction is considered an asset
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid Child Abuse Check
