Are you ready to ride in a relaxed, friendly environment of like-minded supportive adults? Would you enjoy nice easy trail rides, solo or in casual groups and the option for quiet time in a private arena, no stress, no fuss? Just you and your horse. Take a lesson if you want, or don’t. Hack out or school inside.

Think your horse would enjoy being one of 4 in a large field, with natural shade, trees and a pond? Would they enjoy room to roam and just be a horse?

If you are a noncompetitive, “just want to spend time with my horse without judgement” owner of an easy-going horse, then come for a visit and a chat! We’d love to show you around.

We are looking for 1-2 additions to our little private stable. Maybe you and your horse are just who we’ve been looking for!

Our facilities:
• East end of Ottawa– easy access – Russell Road – near Navan, Vars, and Carlsbad Springs (10 mins from Mer Bleu & Innes Rd in Orleans, 8 mins from the Boundary Rd exit off the 417).
• Indoor arena with excellent sand footing.
• Heated tack room with adjacent cross ties (excellent little area to bring your horse in for a break from the winter).
• Indoor toilet.
• Field boarding with large bright run-ins, with half the fields being a wooded paradise with ponds.
• Stalls available for emergencies.
• Trails on our 150 acres, with adjoining trails in the Cumberland Forest. You can hack for about 3 hours without repeating trails.
• Treed pastures with ponds.

Our ideal boarder is:
• A mature rider - 20 years or older.
• Relaxed and competent horseman/woman.
• An independent rider who is comfortable riding on their own as we will have only 8 boarders (4 horses per field).
• Owner of a quiet horse that has no vices and is easy to handle.
• Must integrate with the herd (4 horses per field max) – no individual turnout.

We are fortunate to have an excellent coach, but you may bring your own.
We feed quality hay, grain & vitamins and have excellent grass pastures.

Board is $430/month.
No smokers, no children, no dogs please!
