Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Shop Lead & Field Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role that combines shop leadership with field service work. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including welding, basic mechanical repairs, equipment servicing, painting, and maintaining overall shop operations, while working under the direction of the Shop Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding and light fabrication work

Complete basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance

Service and maintain equipment in both shop and field environments

Assist with painting and surface prep

Wash and detail equipment as required

Maintain and complete paperwork, including inspection reports and service records

Support daily shop operations and help coordinate tasks as a Shop Lead

Travel to local field sites as needed (home every night)

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

Experience in welding and basic mechanics

Valid First Aid certification (required)

H2S Alive certification (required)

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for paperwork and inspections

Ability to lead by example and take initiative

Valid driver’s license preferred

Physically fit and capable of handling manual labour
