TITLE: A Phenomenological Study on Emotions Among Individuals High or Low in Worry
We are seeking volunteer participants for PhD dissertation research studying how emotions are experienced among people who either frequently or infrequently worry.
Funding: Toronto Metropolitan University.
The research ethics protocol for this study has been reviewed and approved by the Toronto Metropolitan Research Ethics Board (REB 2026-005).
Participation is voluntary and will involve answering a short online questionnaire (10 mins). Eligible participants will be invited to participate in an interview (60-90 mins) on Zoom. The interview will ask participants to reflect on their experiences of emotions. Interviews will be audio recorded for analysis.
Participants must be adults (18 years or older), fluent in English, residing in Toronto, who either frequently or infrequently worry.
Individuals who participate in the interview portion of the study will receive an incentive of $20 gift card to their choice of Indigo, SkiptheDishes, or Cineplex.
