QSI Interiors Ltd. is seeking an On-Site Safety Representative for our Edmonton branch. This is an entry level, full-time position and the ideal candidate would have some safety training and experience. Our trade involves drywalling, steel framing, drywall finishing plus acoustical and specialty ceilings. We are a busy, well structured, safety conscious trade contractor and have the privilege of working for the best general contractors in Western Canada. The successful candidate will work with company personnel, subcontractors, suppliers and our clients to maintain a positive safe work environment.

Key responsibilities include:
• Implementing and monitoring of our company safety program
• Review and updating of safety documentation and plans
• Jobsite inspections and reviews
• Tracking safety statistics and incidents
• Maintain and administer safety supplies
• Safety reporting
• Assisting with safety training
• Attending and Conducting safety meetings
• Filing and organizing
• Continuously improving our safety program
• Other administrative (non-safety related) tasks as assigned

Preference will be given to candidates with:
• Experience with construction safety
• Some level of training in safety
• Communication skills, writing skills (English), people skills, technical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and other programs related to your field
