Job description:
Shane Fence is a fence contractor company specializing in chain link and high-security fences & gates across Ontario. We are seeking an experienced Working Site Foreman/woman to lead installation crews and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities include supervising fence installation crews on commercial and high-security projects. This role requires strong technical expertise in chain link and welded wire fencing, hands-on leadership, and experience operating and maintaining machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise fence installation crews on active job sites
Install chain link and high-security welded wire fencing to specification
Plan daily work activities and coordinate crew tasks
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards
Operate and oversee the use of machinery (e.g., skid steers, augers, mini-excavators, forklifts)
Perform basic maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment
Enforce safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Communicate effectively with project managers and site supervisors
Train and mentor crew members as needed

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience installing chain link or high-security welded wire fencing is ideal or similar landscape construction experience
Experience leading or supervising installation crews
Experience operating and maintaining construction equipment and machinery
Ability to read plans, layouts, and site drawings
Valid driver’s license
Commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork
