Empathetic personal support worker with attention to detail. My training took place at a long term care facility on the hardest floor with dementia residents to help prepare me. There was nothing I did not train with on that unit. My schooling was 6 months. I have all necessary vulnerable check, CPR, you name it. I understand that there are caring compassionate workers but not all are that way and entered this for the wrong reasons. We all want someone whom we can trust and feel your loved one is safe. I have finished two years of University in health sciences and took time off to train and work, so my goal is also addictions counselling. I mention this just in case anyone wants to be comforted by somebody who understands the bibles. I have studied them thoroughly for five years and many are comforted at the end of their lives with that knowledge, if in fact that interests you. Prior to my training, I volunteered at a nursing home feeding dementia residents and advocation. Looking forward.
