Office Admin Job Description

2 years of experience in office administration, preferably in Logistics.

Work location: North York
Pay rate $20/hr
Mon to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm
Minimum qualifications:
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word
• Excellent organizational skills
• Legible handwriting
Successful candidate must have the following:
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as a team member
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Pleasant telephone manner
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in an efficient manner
• Generate all related shipping labels and bar codes
• Prepare all required paperwork relating to customer shipments
• Co-ordinate outside services and ensure timely delivery of product
• Communicate and arrange timely pick-up of shipments with freight companies
• Occasional telephone coverage
• Process weekly customer planning schedules
• Monitor level of inventory and place orders as needed
• Record and adjust inventory levels as required
• Assist in generation of purchase orders and work orders
• Any other reasonable requests or tasks as asked by Management
