*Location:* Near Finch Ave E & Tapscott Rd, Scarborough
*Schedule:* Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
*Pay Rate:* $19.50 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

*Job Overview:*
We are hiring a skilled *Wood Worker / Sander* for a furniture manufacturing environment. The role involves sanding and preparing wood components, working with veneer and plastic laminate, and operating woodworking tools and machinery to produce high-quality furniture parts.

*Key Responsibilities:*

•⁠ ⁠Sand and prepare wood surfaces for finishing
•⁠ ⁠Cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, plywood, and composite materials
•⁠ ⁠Operate woodworking machines (saws, routers, planers, sanding machines)
•⁠ ⁠Work with plastic laminate and wood veneer
•⁠ ⁠Read shop drawings and use measuring tools accurately
•⁠ ⁠Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards
•⁠ ⁠Maintain a clean and safe work area

*Requirements:*

•⁠ ⁠3–6 years of woodworking / cabinet making experience preferred
•⁠ ⁠Experience using woodworking tools and machinery
•⁠ ⁠Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
•⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail and reliability
