Job Description:

We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Laborer to join our team in the Trades/Assembly/Manufacture department. The ideal candidate will have experience handling stainless steel bars, with a strong focus on quality and precision. Familiarity with cutting and grinding tools, particularly band saws and grinding wheels. Experience in welding is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate machinery and tools, including band saws and grinding wheels, to cut and shape stainless steel bars according to specifications.

- Perform welding tasks as required, ensuring strong joins and high-quality finishes.

- Assist in the assembly and construction of products, adhering to project timelines and specifications.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols and regulations.

- Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.

- Collaborate with team members to complete various tasks efficiently and effectively.

- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or trades environment, with specific experience in handling stainless steel.

Familiarity with cutting and grinding tools, particularly band saws and grinding wheels.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials.

Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
