Courier Driver – Rural Routes (Southern Manitoba)

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Position Type: Independent Contractor

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM, 7 days a week (flexible scheduling)

=== About the Position ===
We are seeking reliable, self-motivated courier drivers to complete rural delivery routes throughout Southern Manitoba. This role requires a strong work ethic, comfort with rural driving in all conditions, and the ability to manage 100–200 stops per day and potential 14 hour workdays. As an independent contractor, you will operate your own vehicle and manage your daily route responsibilities. The ideal candidate works well independently, delivers exceptional customer service, and is committed to completing the route regardless of weather or daylight conditions.

=== Responsibilities ===
►Complete 100–200 delivery stops per day on assigned routes inside and within 150km of Winnipeg

►Safely operate a personal minivan meeting required standards

►Navigate rural properties, gravel roads, and low-visibility conditions

►Manage packages, maintain accuracy, and ensure timely delivery

►Work long days as needed - routes must be completed before ending shift, as long is it is safe to do so

►Communicate any issues promptly with dispatch

=== Requirements ===
►Own minivan in good working condition

►Winter-rated tires during the season

►Valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance for commercial/courier use

►Strong navigation skills and familiarity with rural Manitoba an asset

►Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 75 lbs)

►Comfortable working in all weather conditions and darkness

►Must be reliable, punctual, and self-directed

►Must pass criminal and driving record check***

=== Compensation ===
Paid as a self-employed independent contractor. Paid per package with an earning potential of $150-$500 per day. Able to claim all expenses as an IOO.
