Job Details
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Communicate well with the rest of the crew
- Protect customer’s belongings with blankets, stretch wrap and tape
- Use of dollies and other moving aids
- Customer service skills, caring for customers makes each day a positive experience
- Every day is a little different, not a typical 9-5 job
- Flexible hours as customers can have a little or a lot to move, they may also be moving locally or long-distance

Mover
$18-20.00/hr to start plus tips with opportunities for raises
- Jobs include moving, packing, unpacking and junk removal (mainly moving)
- Good customer service skills, we want our customers to have a great experience
- Guide driver when parking

Driver
$22.00 to $26.00/hr plus tips with opportunities for raises
- Must have a valid G license
- Ability to safely operate straight box truck up to 26ft
- Ability to pack the truck safely, with use of bungees and straps
- Good communication skills, main point of contact to customers
- Daily truck inspection and e-logs
- All driver’s start as a mover and promotion to driver will depend on experience or skill level

Hours
- Hours are designated based on the jobs booked
- Shifts are complete once the job(s) are complete for the day
- Shifts can vary in length from 3 hours to 14 hours
- Communication of availability is important
- While most jobs are booked weeks in advance, some customers book last minute so having flexible availability can create an opportunity to gain the most hours possible

Training
- At principal place of business in Simcoe
- Learn to properly pad and wrap furniture
- Learn to lift object properly and communicate with team member
- On-site training (sometimes used as an extra on jobs)
