Title of the position:
Dental Assistant

Job duties:
Prepare patients for dental examinations

Order dental and office supplies

Prepare dental instruments and filling materials

Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment

Educate patients concerning oral hygiene

Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant

Take and develop X-rays

Record dental procedures performed on patients

Invoice patients for dental services

Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts

Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory

Skills requirements:
Completion of an eight-month to one-year college or other program in dentistry, dental assistance or related field.

1 years to less than 2 years' experience as a dental assistant

Terms of employment:
Permanent , Full-time

Wage:
$36.00 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week
