These leather boots sport an upper portion that does not hold water so they stay light even after hours in the water. Both the toe and heel areas are reinforced to add extra durability and protection. On top of that, Simms has also added molded rubber toe/heel wraps and good abrasion panels to further protect against wear and tear. The eyelets are reinforced and they lace easily while in full gear. They have a partial neoprene lining for extra comfort and make the on/off process very slick. They also have lace hooks to firmly attach gravel guards. The drain holes prevent water pooling and shed water very fast. The Vibram soles give great traction and stability while walking and wading in water. These boots are very lightweight yet extremely comfortable even after hours on the water. They are sized 12 US.
