True Chinese treasures! These three figures depict women in traditional attire performing tasks, reflecting historical social roles and artistic traditions in East Asian art. The figures wear layers of loose robes, tied and gathered above the waist, draping gracefully. Each face and hair are also finely carved with the hair coiffed into a large and elaborate buns. Each holds the hem of her outer robe in one hand behind her back. In her other hand each holds an item, (scroll, fan and food), that have deep symbolic meanings. They all have a lovely, calm countenance.

The three beautifully detailed Asian figures were hand-carved, (looks like fine-grained boxwood), and each have a gorgeous, warm patina.
They each measures approximately 4¼”H and are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, nor repairs. They are from the turn of century, circa 1905, in the final years of the Qing Dynasty. Always cared for through one family line.

These intricate carvings and attention to detail make these pieces a beautiful representation of traditional Chinese artistry, showcasing the skill and craftsmanship of the time period. They would make stunning additions to any collection of Asian antiques or decorative pieces.
