I have 4 bonded girl budgies they are roughly about 2.5 years old not hand tame but still can make it happen I just work so often that I am unable to make them happy ocean had an injury caused by another bird a bit ago and unfortunately it ended up breaking her toe but she is happy and healthy otherwise I bought them from PetSmart so unfortunately my vet did say that their life span is a little shorter due to the over breeding but so far they are happy
