Sonic Curators looking for a bassist
Minimum Commitment:
May to December 2026
US:
-established GTHA rock/pop/alternative cover band
-formed in 2017 with over 125 performances
-mid-level musicians
-experienced/seasoned live performers
YOU:
-similar musical tastes and talents
-committed, able to start immediately and travel across the GTHA: Toronto/Hamilton/Burlington/Milton/Beeton/Stoney Creek
-experience performing live, charismatic and engaging
-aligned musical objectives
-professional and mature
-music first/having fun mindset
-positive attitude (commitment, work ethic and personality)
-keyboard/guitar/vocal and/or percussion talent an asset
-available for practices and/or gigs 2 to 4 times/month
-available to attend two tryouts in April/May at the Lynx Studios (evenings/weekends),
2 - 3 hrs tryouts; approximately 20 songs in total
-contacts for new gigs/venues an asset
-youtube videos of performances
-references from previous bands if available
-flexible and adaptable to change
Selection Process: online video review, telephone, in person audition
Selection Criteria: attitude, personal/professional values, personality, talent
Compensation:
Approximately/Average $100 per performance
