Experienced hand tool operator
Description
We are looking for a candidate who is knowledgeable in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, and measuring tools.
Other skills possessed should include conversion of mathematical measurements of areas and distances, reading tape measure, assembling, using grinder, drill bits, hand saw and circular saw.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a wide range of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, and measuring tools.
• Assemble, disassemble, adjust, and repair parts or equipment according to work instructions and blueprints.
• Perform routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or mechanical issues and report concerns promptly.
• Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment and tools in proper working condition.
• Ensure accurate measurements and proper fit using gauges, calipers, and measuring devices.
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations, including proper tool handling and PPE usage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Support production or maintenance teams by completing assigned tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues and resolving minor operational problems.
• Document completed work and communicate progress or issues to supervisors as required.
