Asset bases Highway trucking company specializing in long-haul highway transportation across Canada and the U.S. We are committed to safety, efficiency, and keeping our drivers and customers satisfied. We're currently looking for a reliable and experienced Dispatcher to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Independently manage day-to-day dispatch operations

Book loads through Load Link and direct customers

Dispatch drivers efficiently for outbound and return trips

Maximize load capacity and reduce empty miles

Avoid driver layovers and minimize downtime

Plan trips considering Hours of Service (HOS) regulations

Ensure compliance with DOT (U.S.) and MTO (Canada) laws

Monitor and track loads and drivers in real-time

Maintain constant communication with drivers to support on-road challenges

Make sure drivers return home safely and legally

Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch records


Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a dispatcher in a highway trucking company

Strong knowledge of Load Link, trip planning, and freight booking

Understanding of HOS rules, logbooks, and trucking regulations (both U.S. and Canada)

Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and handle pressure

Familiarity with trucking software systems is an asset

Must be fluent in English; Punjabi/Hindi is a plus

Work Schedule:

Full-time (Monday to Friday, some after-hours availability may be required)
