We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and energetic Barista to join our growing team at Chai Stop, a vibrant new café in Etobicoke. If you love great drinks, engaging with people, and being part of a tight-knit team — we'd love to meet you!.

Duties

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Adhere to food safety standards and regulations in food handling and preparation.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Demonstrate time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

Minimum 1 year of barista experience is required
Passion for tea, coffee, and customer experience
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings
Food Handler Certification is an asset
Preferred languages: Spanish, French, Mandarin, Hindi
