Rooster is a 15-year-old bay quarter horse gelding standing 15.2 hands. He has been used for day to day ranch work including pasture riding, branding pen work, roping in both open country and bush. This past summer Rooster was used on a ranch and feedlot near Bigger, Saskatchewan, where he helped with sorting, checking pens, and moving cattle. He has been ridden in heavily treed areas near the Rose Creek and handles varied terrain with confidence. Rooster is best suited for an intermediate rider as he benefits from a confident and consistent hand. With the right rider he's dependable with plenty of practical experience
