Here's another “my loss, your gain” mule for sale. Kodiak is two years old, and she was born here on the ranch out of our fox trotter mare, Maze. Kodiak is by Crosshair's Lonesome Junior. She trots and canters at liberty, and with her breeding, she should have a pretty quick walk in the right hands. She currently stands at 14.1 hands. Her dam is short and stocky, although Kodiak is already taller than her dam.

Kodiak ties, is halter broke and foot broke. She is friendly and gentle. She does not kick, has never threatened to kick. She isn't spooky either. She loves people. She can be a bit of a spitfire, but I think a lot of that has to do with her immaturity. More handling and training will make a huge difference. Her dam is a tough mare, and I expect Kodiak to be the same. She is going to be a wicked mountain mule one day.

We've decided to sell her because we don't believe in wasting potential, and this molly mule is oozing with it. My husband and I both have our hands full with our string of saddle horses and have been making the tough decisions to downsize our up-and-comers. This is a wicked deal for such exceptional breeding and with colour to boot.
