We are seeking a psychiatric registered nurse for the position of clinic manager for my psychiatric clinic in Halifax, NS and the satellite clinics in Newfoundland and Alberta. The clinics are focused on the care of Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP veterans.

Duties of the clinic manager include, but are not limited to:
• Managing and overseeing clinics in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Alberta
• Paying monthly bills and invoices, ordering supplies
• Managing psychiatrists, registered nurses, medical office assistants, transcriptionists
• Mentoring new hires
• Ensuring daily operations run efficiently
• Triaging referrals
• Managing the coordination of patient care for ~ 400 patients
• Liaising with Veterans Affairs Canada, RCMP Health Services, Department of National Defence, Medavie Blue Cross, and other healthcare disciplines to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care

The successful clinic manager will possess the following qualities:

• Have strong organizational skills
