As a Structural Fitter, you will play a vital role in preparing, assembling, and installing structural metal components for buildings, bridges, and other structures. You will work with precision to interpret blueprints, measure and cut metal, and assemble pieces using methods such as bolting and welding. Your expertise will ensure that structures are safe, stable, and built to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Accurately measure, cut, and shape structural metal components using hand and power tools.
- Assemble and install metal components using bolting, welding, and other joining techniques.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets engineering standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute complex assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to fitting and assembly.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Structural Fitter, Metal Fabricator, or in a similar trade.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
- Familiarity with bolting, welding, and other joining techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in various environments, including at heights or in confined spaces.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
