Job Description: Cashier (with experience!)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to manage transactions accurately and efficiently. Prior cashier experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and issue receipts.
Ensure accurate processing of sales, returns, and exchanges.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area as well as dining room, and other duties required.
Assist with bagging purchases and resolving customer inquiries.
Monitor cash drawer levels, ensuring proper change is available.
Reconcile cash drawer at the end of shifts and prepare deposit slips as needed.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
Stocking including: drinks, condiments, napkins, toilet paper, hand soap, utensils, sauces, milk, bags, etc.

Qualifications:
Previous cashier or customer service experience is a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
Basic knowledge and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Fast paced environment
