Cutter Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Must have knowledge of glass cutting with hand and speed cutter.
- Fabricate insulating glass units by using required material.
- Determine type of glass, frames and material required.
- Use hand tools and power tools to measure, mark, and cut glass accurately.
- Transport cases of glass
- Assist in loading and unloading.
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in the glass industry as a Cutter and fabricator or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in using measuring tape for precise measurements
- Advance math skills for calculating dimensions and quantities
- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools commonly used in cutting operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
