To be successful in the masonry trade today, a mason must not only have good tool skills, but also the technical knowledge and background relating to masonry work that you will receive in this course. An Accomplished mason earns good wages and the demand is high in all areas of the country, there are never enough qualified, well-trained professional masons available in the job market. The opportunities are excellent
In the masonry trade a great deal of time is spent working outside, so it is a healthy trade and not as stress related as working at a job where one is in the same office or building day after day and year after year. Mason's today work pretty much year-round. Tarps and heaters are used to work in the winter if necessary and projects can be managed so inside work is available in the winter if possible.
There is also a great deal of satisfaction knowing that what you create with your bare hands will still be around after you are gone. The oldest structures standing today are masonry structures. Masons can look at a building or project that they created and feel a strong sense of pride.
Masonry is also a much more secure career than you might think in this age of extremely rapid change and technological advancement. There is no sign of builders and architects stopping or even slowing down the use of masonry materials in modern structures. It has become increasingly clear in recent years that Automation is not advancing very quickly outside of mass-produced items that are made identical at scale and in a factory. This does not apply to masonry work. Even the leaps in AI have proven to have virtually no impact in replacing jobs in the construction sector while having an enormous impact in replacing white collar jobs in the legal and medical professions for example.
In closing if you enjoy working with your hands and the outdoors and challenging work that allows for a regular change of project and location while also looking for a solid, secure and lasting career path then you should strongly considering signing on for Next Level Masonry Training.
