Job description

We are looking for dedicated servers and bartenders to support the operational growth of Grand Bizzare pool side bar.

You should LOVE hospitality and have a desire to help us move our organization forward by creating a long-term career with us. You'll need to have a love for creating culinary experiences along with a passion for craft beer, great food, and amazing people!

What You'll Do:
You are vital to the success of the restaurant. You are the soul of the operation and often work under great pressure. Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Achieving industry-leading service standards
Maintaining all sanitation and Health & Safety requirements
Teamwork is essential
Product knowledge an asset
Availability to work nights and weekends is a must.


Duties
• Greet and seat customers promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all drink menu recipes
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.

Requirements
• Previous serving experience or previous bartending experience
• Underqualified servers may also apply for host positions with the opportunity for advancement.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is advantageous.
• Strong ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long period and lift items as needed within the restaurant setting.
