It's spring time and it is time to start collecting eggs and hear the swarming quacks of good laying ducks.

Disclaimer: first and foremost we believe in being honest, we used a stock photo for our ad because it's the time of the year that ducks are molting …. and well I don't think they would appreciate us posting their bare bottoms online for all to see.. they will be molting which is a natural process for them but by summer they will have beautiful plumage and will strut their beauty like princesses of the field. So you can expect your feathery babies to look like the photo by summer.

We have approximately 80 female already laying. (Large beautiful eggs, I feel I should mention that ) they have been exposed to a drake Khaki Campbell so you could expect fertilized eggs if you are wanting to incubate. Studies show that ducks stay fertilized for about 7-11 days after being exposed to a drake and even in some case up to 21 days.

Ducks are free ranged on our farm and have a diet or GMO free organic corn, and GMO free oats and barely.

Additional info you should know about Khakis

Egg production: Approximately 300-340 yearly and if happy they can lay more. In my experience they lay even in winter.
Looks: the females look like a cheetah which is just so beautiful
Egg quality: their eggs are white and normally weigh 72-85grams.
Weight: drakes normally weigh 4.5lbs and females 4lbs.
Temperament: the bestest!!! I love them, they are feathery puppies in my opinion and very easier to train. All my ducks are trained that when I yell “I see you” it's time to go back in the barn. They have sweet friendly personalities.
