Who We're Looking For:
This is a full-time role for a Firestop Technician. As a Firestop Technician, you will be tasked with the installation and maintenance of firestop systems according to safety and regulatory standards. Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to reading UL Firestop systems and installing firestopping materials as per system designs and engineering judgements on various construction and renovation projects. This role is on-site and located in Calgary, AB but may have some travel requirements throughout Western Canada.

Qualifications
• Experience with Firestopping system application
• Knowledge of construction building codes
• Proficiency in handling and installing firestop materials
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret ULC systems, blueprints and technical documents
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good physical condition for manual labor tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in firestopping or construction is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
