Not desperate to sell this kit. I have other drum kits and this is my current favourite. These are Pearls flagship line, Masterworks. If ordered new today they would run over $12,000 and have a one year wait before receiving them. Pearl hand builds each kit individually to the customer spec. I have been building drums since the 80's and as shown in the pictures, I totally redid this drumkit. One of a kind custom paint with translucent blue over chrome powder coated lugs and hoops. The shells are the nicest I have ever seen, super thin 3 ply construction with maple re-rings. The 8 and 14 are all maple, the 10 and 12 are African Mahongany with maple outer ply. The 16 is on of my own shells, it is a solid walnut stave with ash steambent re-rings and then finished to perfectly match the rest of the kit. It is thunderous, all the drums are top of the line and with various head combinations, these will do whatever you need them to do. The snare is built from a 14x10 Masters Maple 6 ply shell. It is now 14x8 and I used to extra shell section to make beefy re-rings. I machined the lugs from aluminum and powder coated them to match the rest of the kit. If someone wants to negotiate a deal without the snare, I am ok with that. This snare has become my go to for gigs as it feels and sounds so great, far exceeding my expectations. All the hoops are die cast and the snare has an optional stand mounting rims style set up. Kit comes with this rack, no other stands or cymbals.
