Front Desk Receptionist

Pod-Inn Hotel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern or fresh graduate to assist the Hotel Manager in the day-to-day operations of our cozy and innovative pod hotel. This job provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in hospitality management, guest services, and hotel operations. The ideal candidate shall have a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Reception: Assist with check-ins and check-outs, handle guest inquiries, and provide excellent customer service at the front desk.
- Guest Assistance: Provide support to guests during their stay, including training them on how to use various hotel appliances and equipment.
- Facility Inspections: Regularly inspect equipment, appliances, and facilities to ensure everything is in working order and report any issues.
- Supplies Management: Help with inventory management, ordering new supplies, and ensuring the facility is well-stocked with necessary items.
- Breakfast Service: Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast in the mornings to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Housekeeping Oversight: Inspect the cleanliness and organization of rooms, showers, washrooms, and common areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Maintenance Oversight: Ensure that the hotel is kept in good shape by assisting with minor maintenance tasks or reporting major issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Customer Experience: Engage with guests to ensure a positive and enjoyable stay, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Social Activities: Assist in preparing social activities to the guests such as movie night, gaming, art workshops & classes, etc.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of hotel operations and hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and handle diverse responsibilities.
- Flexibility with work hours, especially mornings and weekends.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not required.
