We are seeking a Part-Time, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling, root planing and polishing.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and other oral health issues.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide exceptional patient care and support to ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all patients.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene and best practices.
Assist in infection control and adhere to clinic protocols for a safe and clean environment.

Requirements
Registered and licensed to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Alberta
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Adaptable to office protocols
A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
