Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in providing optimal patient care through the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and effectively while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications.
Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
Accurately manage medication administration processes, ensuring proper dosages and delivery methods.
Maintain an organized pharmacy environment, including inventory management and restocking supplies.
Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in Ontario from an accredited program, OR at least 3 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant.
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide patient care effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Excellent customer service skills
Recommended
Familiar with Filware pharmacy computer system.
Familiar with CashRX POS system

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
