Job Opportunity: WEEKEND, Permanent Part-Time PSW/DSW – Female Support Worker (Northwest London)
We are currently seeking an experienced (preferred) and compassionate female Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Service Worker (DSW) to support a vibrant 23-year-old woman who is very social and has mild cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. This is a permanent part-time position, ideal for someone reliable, patient, and passionate about making a positive impact.
Position Details:
• Location: Northwest London, Ontario
• Hours:
o Fridays & Saturdays: 3:00 PM – 9:30 PM
o Occasional: Wednesdays or Thursdays from 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Pay: Starting at $20/hour
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Non-smokers only, please
Responsibilities:
• Providing respectful, one-on-one support with daily routines, personal care, physio and activities
• Engaging in her interests: board games, music, TV shows/movies, going to the theatre, or bowling
• Community involvement
• Supporting with mobility and wheelchair use
• Light caregiving and companionship tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• PSW or DSW certification preferred
• Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities or similar support needs
• Female applicants only, due to personal care requirements
• Kind, responsible, and a good communicator
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a non-smoker
