Mechanics utilize 4 day work schedules Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday (10 hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

Working alongside our team of mechanics to perform the following:
Preventative and scheduled repairs
Perform PM Services, Annual Inspections, Engine Aftertreatment & General Repairs
Review and follow work order instructions from start to finish
Outline all parts used and input comments into the work order (complaint, cause and correction) regarding the repair
Inspect entire truck vehicle and road test to ensure repairs are complete
Test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to isolate faults
Identify any warranty repairs and complete necessary paperwork
Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle and truck inspections as per Ministry guidelines
Shunting and moving equipment in and out of maintenance facility

Requirements:
Mechanic should be able to use current technology to ensure vehicle safety and performance
Mechanic should be very detail oriented
Mechanically inclined
Looking for 310T Mechanics
Interested in the transportation industry
Mechanic must be safety minded
Takes initiative to learn new tasks
Time management and organizational skills
Qualifications

Licensed 310T Truck Mechanic certification
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintenance tasks
Experience with electrical systems and schematics
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a team
