Marvel Global Steel specializes in building steel structures and managing industrial and port operations. We are growing and looking for a strong leader to fill the role of Vice-President - Goods Production, Utilities, Transportation and Construction (NOC 00015). This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of $51 per hour based on experience. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring their expertise to our growing team. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in port operations, vessel logistics, industrial infrastructure, and maritime-related projects, with a proven track record of leading multi-million-dollar initiatives at an executive level.

Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Provide strategic leadership for industrial and maritime infrastructure growth.
• Oversee $4M–$8M budgets, financial planning, and profitability to optimize operations.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with government agencies, port authorities, and industry partners.
• Lead and supervise senior managers and directors, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Select, mentor, and delegate authority to middle and senior management to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with transportation, maritime, and industrial construction regulations.
• Spearhead the global expansion of the company's industrial and maritime services, identifying new market opportunities.
• Direct project planning, equipment management, and vessel logistics, ensuring seamless operations.
• Provide regular reports to the CEO and Board of Directors, offering strategic insights on infrastructure and business expansion.
• Represent the company in high-level executive meetings, industry negotiations, and international trade forums.
• Perform additional executive duties as needed to drive corporate growth and operational excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a middle manager in transportation or construction.
• Proven leadership and executive management experience in maritime, port operations, and industrial infrastructure.
• 5 years of senior management experience in construction, transportation (including maritime), industrial production, or related infrastructure operations. Experience with port logistics, maritime operations, or steel infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Experience handling port equipment, vessel operations, and large industrial projects.
• Experience overseeing operations with budgets ranging from $4 million to $8 million.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and strategic financial planning.
• Skilled in negotiating large contracts in the maritime and industrial sectors with government and private companies.
• Excellent oral/written communication and strong organizational skills.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in international maritime and construction operations.
• Strong knowledge of port regulations, vessel operations, and best practices in industrial engineering.
• Willingness to travel across Canada and internationally as required.
