Unique Situation!

I'm offering piano lessons that focuses on learning by ear, in all 12 keys, and developing an understanding of the music you are learning.

About Me:
-I started learning guitar when I was 12 years old. I didn't play much for about an 8-year period due to life getting busy. Once I was able to free up time I decided to really dedicate my time to mastering the instrument. I spent hours daily for about 5 years and made very little progress. I started to learn the piano to help myself become a better musician. I ran into the same problems as I did with guitar.
-I've tried multiple guitar teachers, courses, articles, youtube videos, my own ideas, and most of it was a waste of time. I did however start to piece things together. Eventually I found an extremely talented and unique piano teacher.
-I've been studying piano for about 3 years now, working with this excellent teacher. He charges me $215 per lesson and I see him every other week. For new students his price is now double that.
-I am not a polished piano player as of yet but I feel 100% confident that I can teach his methodology to you. In addition, he was a natural (could play by ear since a kid). I was absolutely NOT. I could not learn anything by ear at all. Now I can pick out chord progressions by ear on the radio while driving.
-I've spoken with multiple people who took piano lessons at the conservatory. They are much better players technically than me because they've had more time on the instrument. However some of them have no ability to learn music by ear and only rely on sheet music. Also, some of them have zero understanding of what they are playing. They usually can only place pieces in one key.
-Essentially I'd be teaching what my teacher has taught me. If you prefer to be taught by him I can put you in contact with him and you can pay the $215. Or, you can get the exact same experience from a player with way less experience and pay $80.
-This is definitely not for someone who isn't motivated to practice. This style of learning is intense and requires a lot of work. But I'm extremely passionate about this and would love to share what I'm learning.
-If you're in the area we can do them in person, if not we can do the lessons online.
