OFFICE ASSISTANT

We are an apartment building management company seeking an individual to assist us in the growth of our business in St. Catharines, Ontario:

POSITION: Office Assistant (Full Time), hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

STARTING DATE: Immediate

SALARY: Will be based on experience of the candidate

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the day-to-day activities of the company including telephone management, office administration (such as filing, photocopying, faxing, courier, etc.).
2. Ability to deal with tenant's requests.
3. Maintaining excel files that deal with rental enquiries, rental receivables, move in and move outs.
4. Preparation of bank deposits, applications and leases.
5. Reviewing timesheets and third party work completed.
6. Preparation of superintendent's task list, correspondence and follow up.
7. Provide administrative support to other staff members when the need arises.
8. General cleaning and suite preparation as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
You possess a secondary school diploma and/or undergraduate degree. As a team player, you demonstrate exceptional integrity and ethics. A strong customer focus is essential, as are demonstrated organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills. You thrive in a fast paced, dynamic and fluid environment and are able to multi task and work additional hours at month end. You are computer literate under the Windows environment and have a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and the Internet.
