Ever heard the saying, "Don't knock it until you've tried it" or, in Audio terms "Don't bad mouth it until you've actually seen and heard it". Its all in the numbers ..... NAD made some nice gear in its "hay day" and anyone who usually still has a piece of Old School NAD gear doesn't usually want to sell it. NAD are known for being minimalists, few extra "Bells and Whistles", their attitude was "Lets let the owner hear things the way they were recorded and meant to be heard. Sound Quality is very warm and natural. Phono stage is excellent. This Integrated amp made by NAD is rated at continuous minimum 25watts RMS per channel. Some would smirk at that number ..... Dynamic Headroom with an 8ohm speaker load is 3db ........ NOW, That is an impressive number. 3db of Headroom means that the amplifier is capable of double its rated power output. Most decent amplifiers can muster about 2.1-2.4 db beyond rated power(so a rating of 25watts per channel which would amount to a dismal 35-40watts per channel above rated power). Run 4ohm load and you will also be rewarded by nearly 40watts RMS per channel .... and the well designed and built power supply is more than ample to do the job. If you want to hear the details and do not need concert hall loudness this is perfect for those fussy enough to want to hear the things some others miss ..... Rear mounted heat sink fins to ensure dissipating the heat generated by the amp chips, you can dry your socks on them if you'd like while listening to good music. It has been checked over and all pots and switches cleaned. Works just like NAD designed it to ....

* I have been servicing other peoples speakers and equipment for over 25yrs, I inspect and test all my own equipment and drivers before listing them, If they need service work I try to ensure everything is working the way it is supposed to before it is sold to anyone.
* If I replace surrounds, I warranty them for 36months - where else can you get warranty on repairs?
* If the crossovers need new Capacitors, I replace them.

There are too many 'OKz.cates' out there who make offers and claim they are coming 'Right Out' ,then climb back into the woodwork and disappear. Put your money where your mouth is. If you are serious about something and want me to hold it for you for a week or less then send me a deposit. If it is not like I claim it to be when you come to see it then I will refund your deposit.
* (4). - Please remember that some brand new or seldom used older gear that has been sitting may work for years without troubles, or, it also may develop small troubles simply from lack of use. There is no warranty that comes with my gear no matter the condition unless I state it clearly in the ad. That being said if a piece of gear develops some troubles, give me a call and let me see if I can help you out. I like to think that I am a reasonable person within reason.
* (5).- There is no cure for misuse and abuse or just plainly being a 'Dumbass'. If you are unsure about how something wires up or works Ask Questions!! There is nothing more frustrating that talking with someone who was too proud to ask for assistance, but, instead wires up something wrong, burns or blows it up then attempts to blame their own mistakes on someone else.
