5th wheel trailer set up as a seasonal camper in Lone Pine Campground with huge enclosed deck.

5th wheel:

2011 40ft Forrest River Sierra with 4 slides. This thing is huge and in great shape for a 2011. The front bedroom above the hitch is the Master Suite which has a king sized bed, lots of closet storage. It also has a full bathroom including shower in the suite, a great oasis for Mom and Dad to get some privacy when the door is closed.
The center portion is the living quarters with a floating 4 chair dinette, couch and kitchen. We've included pots/pans and dishes, so just bring groceries and beer to spend the weekend relaxing (there's even a small beer fridge outside on the deck).
The back bedroom is the Kids suite, and with slides on both sides it makes it very spacious. There are 4 bunks (one that folds into a comfy couch), a full wall storage/entertainment center, built in toy box in the floor and a separate 1/2 bath so they don't have to bug Mom and Dad. This half bath can also double as a quick use bathroom when on the deck since it has a second door to the outside.

The deck:

No expense was spared in the build of this beauty, built 2 summers ago. The deck is 15'X40' with 34' of it enclosed and screened in to be enjoyed even when the bugs are out. It has a sunken living room at one end with couch/loveseat/coffee table, and we even included a 50" flat screen tv to enjoy movies/games on. The front section has a dinigroom table and 8 chairs, and a nice BBQ to cook some great meals on. The entire deck can be made private by closing the blinds on the front and back screen doors, as well as closing the black out privacy curtains that are full floor length. The roof is metal and extends over the deck and trailer, so no worries of ever having any leaks to be worried about (no it never leaked before we built this). Incorporated in the roof are skylights, 3 of them on the deck side and 5 on the trailer side that line up to the roof vents to keep all that natural light coming in. It was built strong with lots of overkill to ensure it will last for many years to come...

Lone Pine Campground (Penobsquis NB) is a great family oriented Campground, with a pool/playground/rec center. Its small enough that everyone knows each other and it feels safe for kids to play...We built the outdoor living to enjoy in retirement, but alas we have taken on some new hobbies and decided to go in a different direction. Our hard work could be your gain.
