HOME CARE WORKER
Hiring Now Part-time Personal Support Worker/Attendant (Private Home Care) – East End, St. John's, Newfoundland. Seeking a dependable individual to provide support to an elderly lady who has mobility issues but still requires some assistance with various things around the house, such as simple meal preparation. She currently lives with her daughter, who provides some assistance, but also requires support during “down times”, such as doing community errands, and light housework. No lifting is required. Rate of Pay: $17.00/hr. Work Schedule: Approximately 10-15 hours per week but may vary depending on the situation and need. Start date: As soon as possible. Duties: Light personal care; Meal preparation; Household chores (e.g., laundry, cleaning); Community errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up mail, etc. Requirements: Can provide a clear criminal record check, references and own transportation with use of a vehicle. Experience assisting an elderly client is an asset; however, mainly looking for somebody who is dependable, reliable, patient, easy going, and can be accessible and flexible with any shift changes or duties.
