Hiring Now Part-time Personal Support Attendant (Private Home Care) – St. John's, Newfoundland
Seeking a dependable individual to provide support to a female in her 40's who has an intellectual disability.
Rate of Pay: $17.05/hr
Work Schedule: Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with times being either 11am - 2pm, or 5pm-7pm. Days of the week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday.
Ability to work more hours occasionally (e.g., if family member cannot be there)
Start date: As soon as possible.
Duties: -Light personal care -Meal preparation -Household chores (e.g., laundry, cleaning) – Taking client out for an hour (e.g. for a walk, a drive etc.)
Requirements: -Can provide a clear criminal record check and references and own transportation
-Experience is an asset; however, mainly looking for somebody who is reliable, compassionate, intuitive, easy-going and has a good work ethic.
Ideal Employees Will Be: -Self-directed -Can preform job duties with little or no direction/supervision
