Join our team as a Safety and Compliance Coordinator and play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and safe operations on a day to day basis. Please note that this is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
Answer incoming calls and emails and respond to inquiries in a timely manor
Maintain all tractor and trailer files
Driver hiring, orientation of new drivers with safety instructions and training
Collision/incident reporting, investigating and taking necessary action to maintain overall safety
Scheduling safety meetings and training on a regular basis
Health and safety knowledge
Making sure drivers are accurately completing accident and incident reports when required
Coordinate compliance activities for any DOT or safety audits
Reporting to upper management on a regular basis
Required Experience/Skills:

Minimum 2 years of Safety and Compliance experience (in the trucking industry is a plus)
Familiarity with phone systems, email and Samsara (or similar) software
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
Demonstrates consistent punctuality and attendance
ability to write reports
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from drivers
Ability to work with all levels including drivers and upper management
Salary:
