Flexibility in scheduling is a must, as is the ability to multi-task. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have a strong Customer focus. Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Report directly to Dispatch manager or designate
Receive and record information for all calls received
Address problems and make requests by communicating with the necessary parties or providing solutions
Receive calls about deliveries and dispatch pick-ups to drivers
Multitask and prioritize calls according to their urgency
Regularly monitor delivery progress and assure timely response within requested timelines
Providing drivers with vital information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements
